Function and Application of Icatibant Acetate CAS 30308-48-4
Eltebante acetate is a potent and selective competitive antagonist of bradykinin type 2 (B2) receptors that treats the local swelling of emboli in acute HAE by inhibiting the effects of bradykinin associated with the embolic local swelling, inflammation, and painful symptoms of HAE. HAE is only the first of several indications that may be treated with eltebante acetate; other potential indications are asthma, cirrhosis, and other types of angioedema.
