Acetyl Tetrapeptide-15 is a new synthetic tetrapeptide that helps relieve sensitive skin by normalizing the tolerance threshold for environmental factors, certain topically applied uncomfortable products, or skin care treatments. It mimics a natural opioid peptide and was developed with the aim to decrease the stimulation of the skin’s nerve endings.

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-15 is generally used for sensitive skin care. The tetrapeptide targets neurosensitive skin by reducing the release of pro-inflammatory mediators and increasing the skin’s tolerance levels, resulting in less reactive skin and reduced pain and discomfort.
